Report from YP Gospel Meeting

On Saturday evening, April 19, the young people gathered for a gospel meeting centered on the topic "Real Rest: Overcoming Stress and Burnout Through Christ." There were 91 attendees, including 14 guests who signed in. Chick-fil-A was provided for dinner, followed by popsicles and ice cream bars for dessert. Three of the high schoolers shared their testimonies, which were honest, touching, and very relatable. Then a gospel message was spoken that addressed the challenges of stress and burnout, pointing to Christ as the source of true rest. Together, the message and testimonies seemed to deeply resonate with those who attended.

Guests especially enjoyed the singing, and several expressed interest in joining future YP meetings. The Lord’s presence was very much with us throughout the evening. One of the most encouraging moments came during the altar call – The invitation was given to respond to the Lord and every single person in the room stood up.
Not only was it encouraging to see many gospel friends of the young people, but it was also encouraging to see our own young people labor to coordinate, plan and carry out this gospel meeting. The young people invited their friends from school and truly entered into the joy of shepherding their friends to the Lord.

Report from Spring College Conference

During the weekend of April 18th, the Spring College Conference was held, bringing together students from across Southern California. The topic of the conference was “The Purpose of the Ages.” Over 667 attendees participated, including 48 students from Irvine.
Throughout the conference, we saw a view of the purpose of the ages, the church, and how God’s purpose should become our purpose. We touched the seven aspects of the church in Ephesians, with a burden that we would pray to receive a spirit of wisdom and revelation and for our eyes to be enlightened that we would see the church. The matter of the Body was opened to us, seeing how the church is not an organization but an organism that is growing into the Head in all things, and how we need a personal, loving relationship with the Lord. Lastly, we touched on the practical way for the church to be built, by the operation in the measure of each one part. There was encouragement that in our day-by-day church life, we would learn to function and prophesy to be perfected.

Excerpts from Brother Frank Prano's Update in France - March 26, 2025

Brothers, praise the Lord and the Head of the Body!

A few days ago I started to feel that I should remain in Toulouse. After fellowship with the brothers here and in Paris, I decided to stay until the Francophone conference on April 24th. They all confirmed that this is where I should be, one brother saying he had been praying that I would remain.

I think my portion from the Lord is well received by both the young people and the Spanish speaking saints. One Spanish speaking brother last night indicated that he needs more one on one fellowship, though he appreciates the meetings.

Of course there are more experiences of shepherding than expressed in these pictures. And besides those, the Lord is shepherding, perfecting, and exercising me in answer to my prayers to restore the years the locusts have eaten.
